Position Title:  Pastor/Bible Teacher for Non-Traditional Church Body

We are a Body of believers who make up the Church of the Living Word and we are looking for a full-time Bible-based teacher of the Holy Word. We love God’s Word and try to live it daily.  Our church building, which we bought for $1, is 22,000 square feet, complete with auditorium and gymnasium. We are not routine, nor traditional in the church structure sense…we have no secretary, no janitor…our members roll up their sleeves and do what needs to get done. Our main focus is not to grow this congregation, but to grow His kingdom. Our mission-mindedness reaches from our own back yard to across the globe. We believe in obedience to the Bible.  Instead of conforming to the voice of popularity, we would rather strive for looking like Jesus.  Our walls house the alternative high school, a preschool, Bridge of Hope, and we serve as a county emergency shelter. 

We are praying for a born-again, spirit-filled, Jesus-loving believer who is passionate and energetic. Our new teacher must be humble, hands-on, humorous, and strive to continually improve her/himself and others while being an active member of our community.

We are situated in Hampton, Iowa, population 4,218. Hampton offers something for everyone such as great shopping, a variety of recreational activities, a local medical center and hospital, new aquatic center, and local schools.
