Many more to come, Lord willing! • Mission Mexico International We are in fellowship with Enrique Estrada of Spirit of Joy in Monterrey, MX. He is part of Mission Mexico International which exists to bring the Good News of Salvation to the people of Mexico with the Lutheran perspective in the power of the Holy Spirit, so they may experience the true love of God through Christ. Located in the African country of Sierra Leone, you can buy a brick to help build a school for this orphanage in Bo. We have had a group go and visit the orphanage and continue to grow our relationship with them. Roger Hatch from Marhsalltown, IA is the co-founder of the home whose goal is “bringing hope to the hopeless” You can contact Roger at 641-485-2829. Remembering our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith happens every Sunday as we gather and throughout the year in various ways. We also recognize the International Day Of Prayer for the Persecuted every year. We first encountered Samaritan’s Purse during the days after the Parkersburg tornado (2009). Since then we participate with them in Operation Christmas Child each year. |
